These bouncing balls of fur, Maligators as we affectionately call them, will one day become the latest and greatest dock jumpers, disc dogs, fly ball dogs, agility dogs, YOU NAME IT!

Belgian Malinois are not for the faint of heart.  These little babies require leadership, commitment to exercise and consistency.  Owning one of these puppies will require a fenced yard!

If you would like to meet these babies, please click on the Adopt button below to begin the application process.

Update from Emmy's foster mom:

If Emmy could talk she’d say “Hey Punk! Give me your bone, your
stuffy, and your milk money!” This is one brave, sassy girl! She’s not
shy about vocalizing her needs either. Whether she needs to go potty
or just wants your attention she will let you know! She’s not afraid
of anything. During outside play time she tries to keep up with the
big girls and chases after Dilly everywhere she goes. She likes to be
right up in the action. Emmy is very smart. She rocks the head tilt
every time she encounters something new. You can practically see her
thinking through a problem. She is very good about going potty
outside. In fact, she even refuses to use the puppy pad in the play
pen. She prefers to yowl at you until you come get her to potty. If
you don’t come fast enough she will let you know how she feels about
it! She gets really mad, and I mean MAD, when Tubby pins her during
play. She kicks, and snarls, and grabs his ears to get out from under
him. So far, Tubby has not been able to pin her again. She is
definitely the boss among the two. She goes in her crate at night
without much fuss but she is also going in there with Tubby after an
hour of outside play time. There’s no need to set an alarm during the
night to take this girl potty, she will alert you herself using that
big voice! Right now she is going potty every 2 hours. She also has
had zero accidents in the house. Emmy is an independent girl who is
eager to please her people and earn their affection. She will make a
wonderful addition to an active home.

*The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!

Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
