This litter of 6 females and 3 males is coming to MARS on 8/27. Their mother is a prize winning standard poodle that belongs to a breeder and is the grandaughter of a westminster winner. The father is a dachshund. Like their parents, these pups are going to be mostly black in color and should remain small in size. We haven't got individual pictures of all of them yet. Stay tuned! The Doxie - Standard Poodle Cross is one of the new hybrids. They are often called Doodles or Doxiepoos, but we liked Doxiedoodle! For general information on Doxiepoos:

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.
