Meet Zander!

Zander/Bandit is a very friendly, and happy pup. He likes to lie down on the couch and quietly look out the window. He mostly ignores the cat, but they play a little bit. He likes giving kisses and getting belly rubs. He enjoys hanging in the sun while I tend to the garden. He likes to play fetch with the ball or chew on sticks.

He is good with older children, but expect he would do well with younger.

Whatever family adopts him is getting a really good dog from my short experience with him. He is a runner though when he got out of the open gate so will need to have a fenced yard or be leashed when outside.

Zander does have a loud bark for a little guy so a home with no shared walls may be best for him.

We are a foster based rescue located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. We do require adoptions to physically take place at our adoption center and do not provide transport of any of our animals. If you are not local to us we encourage you to look at rescues and shelters in your area as many animals are in need across the United States.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
