Description:

Zeke is an awesome puppy!! He is so full of love and spunk. He is very gentle and loves his people. Zeke will most definitely make a great addition to a family.

He is well on his way to being house trained. He goes to the door when he wants to go out. Very, very few accidents. More the humans fault than his.

He is great with kids (12 and 8). He should do well with any age children.

Zeke sleeps through the night in a kennel and is left for short periods of time (3-4 hours) in a kennel without issue. As we leave the kennel door open when we are home, many times we will find him napping in his kennel.

He isn’t much of a barker unless he hears another dog. He loves to play, chew on his toys and run around in our yard.

He’s not comfortable going on car rides... he rides really well but seems a little scared. May need to try putting him in a kennel.

Zeke loves to go for walks but doesn’t like to to walk by busy roads. He’s still learning to walk on a leash. With continued training I think he will catch on.

*Note* Pups this young should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help them with potty training and socialization*

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
